Description
Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Bumper Step PPF Kit
This precut paint protection film kit supplies the pictured rear bumper-step piece for the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class application identified in this listing. It covers the trunk-loading ledge below the rear opening rather than the entire rear bumper. The artwork names S580 4MATIC V8 and S680 4MATIC V12. Compare the pictured cut and confirm your exact vehicle configuration before ordering; the kit is not a full-front package.
Included Coverage
The illustration shows one wide, shallow-curved strip with near-vertical ends. Only that pictured bumper-step piece is supplied. The vehicle photograph identifies the application and does not indicate coverage for every visible body panel. Hood, fender, door and other bumper pieces are outside this kit’s coverage. The blue geometric pattern illustrates the cut shape rather than a printed finish on the actual film.
Year and Vehicle Confirmation
The product title, Additional Information attribute and vehicle finder list 2021, 2022 and 2023. The existing page address contains 2023–2024, so the address should not be used as proof of compatibility or to assume 2024 coverage. The image names the S580 and S680 applications but does not print model years. Contact us to confirm the correct year, trim and bumper pattern before purchase, especially if these details conflict with your vehicle. Replacement bodywork or accessories may also affect the required cut.
Protection for the Trunk Ledge
Paint protection film adds a protective layer to the covered paint and can help reduce light surface scuffs from normal use. Continue lifting luggage and bags clear of the rear bumper while loading the trunk. Film does not make the paint scratch-proof or prevent dents and heavy-impact damage. Only the surface beneath the installed piece receives this protection; surrounding uncovered areas remain outside the supplied coverage.
Choose Your Film
The options shown on this page include ProFusion 8 Mil, S.T.E.K Matte, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200 and S.T.E.K Hydrophobic. Compare the selected manufacturer’s specifications for finish, performance and care requirements. Properties vary by option and should not be assumed identical across all films. Your selected film determines the supplied finish; the colored pattern diagram is used only to illustrate coverage.
Preparation and Care
Inspect the paint and compare the supplied strip with the trunk ledge before removing its liner. Thorough cleaning, careful alignment and suitable working conditions are important even with a precut shape. Follow the chosen film manufacturer’s installation and curing instructions, or consult an experienced installer when needed. After installation, follow the recommended washing and maintenance guidance and avoid directing high-pressure spray toward exposed film edges.
