Description
2021–2023 Polestar 2 Precut Paint Protection Kit
This precut paint protection film kit is listed for the 2021–2023 Polestar 2. The product artwork shows narrow side pieces and a curved upper band. It is a targeted pattern, not a full-vehicle wrap or a complete roof sheet. Compare the pictured shapes with your vehicle and confirm the supplied pieces and their intended application areas before ordering.
Paint protection film adds a sacrificial layer to the surfaces it covers. It can help reduce everyday wear from road debris and light surface abrasion, but it cannot prevent every chip, scratch or impact. Protection is limited to the installed pieces; other panels remain uncovered by this kit.
Vehicle Fitment and Model Years
The listing, visible vehicle attribute and vehicle-fitment selections identify Polestar 2 model years 2021, 2022 and 2023. The artwork filename identifies a 2022 pattern. Confirm the correct cut for your exact year and configuration before purchase rather than relying on a model name or image filename alone.
Compare the relevant pillar and upper-edge details against the pictured pieces. Equipment, trim and surface details can affect pattern suitability. This description does not add later years, extend the kit to other Polestar models or verify every configuration. Ask the store to resolve any uncertain fitment detail before ordering or removing film backing.
Pictured Coverage and Listing Labels
The product name says A-Pillars + Rooftop, the original included-area label says A-Pillars, and the film selector says Partial A-Pillars. Because those labels differ, confirm the supplied pieces and their placement with the store. Use the pictured narrow side pieces and curved upper band as the reference; no full-roof sheet is shown.
Do not assume that this kit covers the entire roof, every pillar surface, adjacent trim or glass. Hood, bumper, fender, mirror, door and other body-panel coverage is not established by the illustrated pattern. Additional areas require separately confirmed kits. The textured blue artwork illustrates cut shapes, not a decorative blue film color supplied with the order.
Film Choices and Order Details
Current options are ProFusion 8 Mil, ProFusion 10 Mil, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200, S.T.E.K Hydrophobic and S.T.E.K Matte. Choose the film you want and check the displayed total before adding the kit to your cart. Selecting a different film does not expand the pictured coverage.
Specifications, finish, warranty terms and care requirements can differ between options. Confirm any thickness or performance feature important to your order using information for the selected film. Do not assume that every choice has identical properties. This precut film kit does not include a ceramic-coating service or a whole-vehicle coating treatment.
Preparation and Installation
Precut film still requires careful preparation, alignment and finishing. Check the supplied pieces against the vehicle before removing their backing and follow the selected manufacturer’s application instructions. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with applying paint protection film or with positioning and finishing narrow pieces.
Use a clean, suitable application surface. Existing coatings, repaired paint, contamination and damaged finishes can affect adhesion or appearance. Resolve surface-compatibility concerns before installation. Do not use film to conceal failing paint or stretch an incorrect pattern to compensate for a different vehicle configuration or application area.
Care and Final Fitment Check
Follow the chosen film manufacturer’s curing, cleaning and maintenance instructions. Use compatible products, avoid directing high-pressure water at film edges and inspect the installed pieces periodically. Contact your installer if an edge lifts or a piece becomes damaged, and obtain advice before attempting a repair or using an unfamiliar cleaner.
Before checkout, confirm your 2021–2023 Polestar 2 year and configuration, the pictured side pieces and upper band, their intended locations, selected film and order total. Ask the store about any unclear coverage label before purchasing. These checks help match the order to the actual kit shown without assuming full-roof coverage, additional panels or a coating service.
