Description
Tesla Model Y A-Pillar Paint Protection
This product is listed as a precut paint protection film kit for the full A-pillars of a 2020–2025 Tesla Model Y. The unchanged product picture shows two long, narrow mirrored pieces. Those are the only shapes the artwork clearly identifies. The film option chosen on this page would be cut for a vehicle-specific pattern, but the pictured file is named for a Tesla Model S, not a Model Y. Confirm the actual Model Y pattern and the included piece lengths with the seller before ordering or installing this kit.
The blue textured illustration represents the shape of the film pieces, not their installed finish. Clear and matte film options have different appearances. The title’s “Full A Pillars” wording should be checked against the page’s visible “Partial A-Pillars” label and the precise pictured strips. Do not assume either label resolves the coverage extent without confirmation of the cut.
Coverage Shown and Not Shown
The image shows a matched pair of narrow pillar-area strips. It does not show a roof sheet, windshield film, hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors, doors, rocker panels or any other vehicle panel. The exact upper and lower endpoints of the pillar pattern are not established by the small product image alone. Ask the seller to specify whether the cut covers the full painted A-pillar length for your exact Model Y and to identify any excluded border or attachment area before film is prepared.
Only the confirmed pictured pieces should be treated as included. A precut kit for one area is not a whole-vehicle wrap, and generic statements about vulnerable panels elsewhere on a vehicle do not expand this kit. If you want protection for another panel, verify a separate product and cut pattern for that area. The illustrated pair is a visual reference, not evidence that a Model S artwork file also fits a Model Y.
Select the Film Material
The film choices currently offered on this listing are ProFusion 8 Mil, ProFusion 10 Mil, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200, S.T.E.K Hydrophobic and S.T.E.K Matte. Choose the desired material in the selector and review the displayed price before checkout. The selected film determines what material would be supplied for the confirmed pillar pattern. A matte selection is distinct from the appearance of the other choices, and the blue faceted image should not be taken as the film’s finished color or texture.
Paint protection film can provide a sacrificial layer on the painted surfaces it actually covers. Appearance, care and performance depend on the selected manufacturer’s material, paint condition and installation quality. It is not a guarantee against every chip, scratch, stain or impact. The product’s listed price is for the kit and selected options shown here; it does not imply installation service or film for areas outside the verified A-pillar pattern.
Confirm Model, Years, and Trim
The product title and existing finder rows list Tesla Model Y for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. The visible year attribute presents the same six years after formatting. However, the unchanged image file specifically names a 2020–2022 Tesla Model S. That is a different model, so the image cannot substantiate Model Y fitment or coverage, including the later listed years. The prior text also named Long Range AWD, Long Range RWD, Performance and RWD without separate cut evidence. Do not assume that a single pictured pattern fits every year or trim.
Before purchase, ask the seller to confirm a Model Y-specific A-pillar template for your exact model year and trim, and to verify the picture or supply correct cut details. If your vehicle has a design change, repair or aftermarket trim around the windshield, identify it during that check. The existing finder years are left unchanged, but they are not independent proof that the pictured Model S art is appropriate for a Model Y. No later year or additional trim is being inferred.
Preparation and Application Considerations
Film application requires clean, sound paint, a suitable work area and careful positioning. Long narrow pieces can shift during alignment, especially along a curved pillar or at an edge. A verified precut pattern can reduce some trimming on the vehicle, but it does not make installation effortless. If you do not have experience applying paint protection film to narrow upper-body contours, consider professional installation once the correct pattern is confirmed.
Inspect the supplied pieces against the Model Y before removing liners or applying film. If the pieces resemble the Model S artwork or do not align with the vehicle’s A-pillars, stop and resolve the discrepancy with the seller rather than stretching or trimming them to force a fit. Follow the selected film manufacturer’s current preparation, installation and care instructions. This description is not a substitute for the correct pattern or application guidance.
Order Only After Pattern Confirmation
Use this listing only after the seller confirms that the actual cut supplied is for the named 2020–2025 Tesla Model Y and clarifies the Full versus Partial A-Pillars labels. Choose from the available film materials and verify the current order total. Confirm the exact year, trim, left/right piece count and pillar coverage endpoints. If the seller cannot establish those details, do not rely on the Model S picture as proof of Model Y fitment.
The product picture and existing valid URL remain unchanged. This description discloses the image-model discrepancy and limits coverage to the two pictured narrow pieces unless the seller verifies otherwise. It does not add roof or unrelated panel coverage or promise that one pattern fits every listed Model Y. The correct, confirmed vehicle template should control the final film cut.
