$89.99
Description
2022–2024 BMW 228i Gran Coupe Precut PPF Kit
This precut paint protection film kit is listed for the 2022–2024 BMW 228i Gran Coupe. The product artwork shows narrow side pieces and a curved upper band. It is a targeted pattern rather than a full-vehicle wrap or a complete roof sheet. Compare the pictured shapes with your vehicle and confirm the supplied pieces and their intended application areas before ordering.
Paint protection film adds a sacrificial layer to the surfaces it covers. It can help reduce everyday wear from road debris and light surface abrasion, but it cannot prevent every chip, scratch or impact. Protection is limited to the installed pieces; panels beyond the supplied pattern remain uncovered by this kit.
Vehicle Fitment and Year Confirmation
The product title identifies 2022–2024, while the existing vehicle attribute and 2 Series Gran Coupe finder also list 2025. These ranges differ. This description does not verify 2025 compatibility or extend the title’s year range. Contact the store for exact pattern confirmation before ordering for a year or configuration that is not clearly supported.
The artwork filename identifies a 2022 BMW 228i Gran Coupe pattern, and the existing URL ends in 2023. Neither a filename nor a URL alone establishes the full fitment range. Confirm your exact year, trim and relevant pillar and upper-edge details. Do not assume that other 2 Series models, body styles or configurations use identical pieces.
Pictured Coverage and Included Areas
The product name says A-Pillars + Rooftop, the original included-area label says A-Pillars, and the film selector says Partial A-Pillars. Confirm the supplied pieces and their placement where those labels are unclear. Use the pictured narrow side pieces and curved upper band as the coverage reference; no full-roof sheet is shown.
Do not assume coverage for the entire roof, all pillar surfaces, adjacent trim or glass. Hood, bumper, fender, mirror, door and other body-panel coverage is not established by this illustration. Additional areas need separately confirmed kits. The blue textured artwork represents cut shapes, not a decorative blue film color supplied with the order.
Film Options and Order Details
Current choices are ProFusion 8 Mil, ProFusion 10 Mil, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200, S.T.E.K Hydrophobic and S.T.E.K Matte. Select the desired film and review the displayed total before adding the kit to your cart. A film choice does not expand the pictured coverage.
Specifications, finish, warranty terms and care requirements can differ between options. Confirm any thickness or performance feature important to your order using information for the selected film. Do not assume that all choices have identical properties. This precut kit does not include a ceramic-coating service or whole-vehicle coating treatment.
Preparation and Installation
Precut film requires careful preparation, alignment and finishing. Check the supplied pieces against your vehicle before removing their backing and follow the chosen manufacturer’s application instructions. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with paint protection film or with positioning and finishing narrow pieces around edges.
Use a clean, suitable application surface. Existing coatings, repaired paint, contamination and damaged finishes can affect adhesion or appearance. Resolve surface-compatibility questions before applying film. Do not use it to conceal failing paint, and do not stretch an incorrect pattern to compensate for a different year, trim or application area.
Care and Final Fitment Check
Follow the selected film manufacturer’s curing, cleaning and maintenance guidance. Use compatible care products, avoid directing high-pressure water at film edges and inspect the installed pieces periodically. Contact your installer if an edge lifts or a piece becomes damaged, and obtain advice before using an unfamiliar cleaner or attempting a repair.
Before checkout, confirm your BMW 228i Gran Coupe year and configuration, resolve the differing year labels, and check the pictured side pieces and upper band, selected film and total. Ask the store about any unclear piece before purchasing. These checks help match your order to the actual kit without assuming 2025 compatibility, full-roof coverage, additional panels or a coating service.
