2022-2024 Acura RDX – A-Spec Precut Paint Protection Kit – Bumper Step

Description
Acura RDX A-Spec Bumper Step PPF Kit
This precut paint protection film kit is listed for the 2022–2024 Acura RDX A-Spec and covers the pictured rear bumper-step area, also called the trunk ledge. It is a focused protection option for the loading edge below the rear cargo opening, rather than a full rear bumper or full-front package. Match the illustrated shape to your vehicle before ordering.
Included Coverage
The product artwork shows one narrow, gently curved bumper-step strip with near-vertical ends. Coverage is limited to that pictured piece. The vehicle photograph identifies the application; it does not mean every painted panel shown in the photograph is included. Front bumpers, hoods, fenders, doors and other body panels are not part of this bumper-step kit.
Vehicle and Pattern Check
The listing identifies Acura RDX A-Spec model years 2022, 2023 and 2024. The vehicle finder uses the broader Acura RDX model name, so a finder result alone does not confirm an A-Spec-specific cut. Check your model year, trim and rear bumper shape against the artwork. If your vehicle has replacement bodywork, accessories or a different loading-edge shape, contact us to confirm the pattern before purchase. The illustration does not independently establish compatibility across every listed year.
Protection for the Loading Area
Paint protection film adds a protective layer over the covered painted surface and can help reduce light surface scuffs from everyday use. Keep luggage and other cargo clear of the bumper whenever possible: film does not make the surface scratch-proof or prevent dents and heavy impacts. Protection applies only where the supplied film is fitted; it does not extend to surrounding uncovered areas.
Choose Your Film
Select from the film options shown on this product page. The available choices include ProFusion 8 Mil, S.T.E.K Matte, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200 and S.T.E.K Hydrophobic. Compare the selected film’s finish and manufacturer specifications before ordering. The blue patterned artwork is a coverage illustration, not the printed color of the supplied film. Film properties and care requirements depend on the option selected.
Preparation and Care
Inspect the paint and compare the supplied piece with the rear bumper step before removing its liner. Thorough cleaning, careful alignment and suitable application conditions are important; a precut shape does not remove the need for installation skill. Follow the chosen film manufacturer’s installation and curing instructions, or consult an experienced installer. After installation, follow the recommended wash and care guidance and avoid directing high-pressure spray at exposed film edges.
