2019-2022 Genesis G90 Precut Paint Protection Kit – Bumper Step
$39.99
Description
Genesis G90 Bumper Step PPF Kit
Protect the rear bumper loading ledge of your Genesis G90 with a precut paint protection film kit for the bumper step area. Coverage is limited to the shallow curved strip pictured in this listing, rather than the entire rear bumper. The film is intended for the corresponding painted ledge exposed when moving bags, luggage and other items into or out of the trunk.
Vehicle, Year and Trim Confirmation
The existing product title and vehicle finder list Genesis G90 model years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The original trim reference is G90, without a more specific equipment or trim designation. Confirm your exact year, trim and rear bumper configuration against the pictured pattern before ordering.
The page address contains 2020–2023, which differs from the 2019–2022 title and vehicle selections. That address is not confirmation of additional compatibility. The image has no printed year range, so it does not resolve the difference. Request exact pattern confirmation if your application is uncertain; do not assume fitment from the G90 name or page address alone.
Included Coverage
The product image shows one shallow curved strip with shaped ends for the rear bumper step/loading ledge. Compare the complete outline and end shapes with the intended surface on your vehicle. The blue patterned appearance identifies the film shape in the illustration; it is not a printed finish supplied on the installed film.
This kit does not include the full rear bumper face, trunk lid, front bumper, hood, fenders or other body panels. Factory protectors, trim pieces, replacement bumpers and other accessories can affect placement. Coverage should not be assumed to extend beyond the pictured strip or around accessories that are not represented in its outline.
Film Choices and Appearance
Available selections include ProFusion 8 Mil, STEK Matte, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200 and STEK Hydrophobic. Choose your preferred film in the product controls before adding the kit to your cart. Consider how the selected finish will look alongside the surrounding paint.
Film construction, surface characteristics, care requirements and any manufacturer warranty vary by selection. Refer to the chosen manufacturer’s current specifications rather than assuming every option offers identical self-healing, stain-resistance or hydrophobic performance. Matte and gloss-oriented films can produce different appearances; select according to the documented product properties.
Preparation and Application
Clean and decontaminate the loading ledge using procedures appropriate for the paint and selected film. Compare the supplied pattern with its backing still attached before beginning application. Stop if the shape, dimensions or edge locations do not correspond to the intended surface.
Follow the film manufacturer’s guidance for preparation, application solutions, working conditions and edge treatment. Careful alignment and controlled handling are important along a curved bumper ledge. Professional application is an option if you are unfamiliar with handling paint protection film or checking a pattern against your vehicle.
Care and Ordering Checklist
Observe the selected film manufacturer’s curing and cleaning instructions. Avoid abrasive cleaning and concentrated pressure-washer spray at exposed edges. Film can help reduce everyday surface wear, but cannot prevent every scratch, impact or paint defect.
Before checkout, verify your exact year, trim, bumper configuration, pictured coverage and film choice. Resolve the noted year-reference difference and any other fitment uncertainty first. Retain your order details for future product and care questions.
