2020-2022 Subaru Outback Paint Protection Kit A Pillars+Rooftop

2020–2022 Subaru Outback Precut PPF Kit

This Subaru Outback PPF kit is listed for model years 2020–2022. It supplies precut paint protection film for the pattern illustrated in the product image. Compare that diagram with your vehicle before ordering. The A Pillars + Rooftop product name does not mean a complete roof panel or every surface around the windshield is included.

Paint protection film adds a protective layer over the compatible painted surfaces it covers. It can help reduce exposure to light abrasion and small road debris, but it cannot prevent every chip, scratch or impact. Protection is limited to the installed film area. Existing paint damage remains underneath the film, and uncovered panels do not gain protection from this kit.

Choose a film option from the selector on this page and confirm the displayed total before adding the kit to your cart. This is a vehicle-specific precut film product, not a whole-vehicle coating or installation service.

Review the Pictured Coverage

The illustration shows a narrow bowed upper band and two long side strips that slope outward. The side strips widen slightly toward their angled lower ends. Separations are visible where the upper band meets the side strips. Use the complete diagram as the coverage reference, including its outlines and the transitions between upper and side sections. The blue geometric fill is an illustration aid, not the decorative appearance of the supplied film.

The artwork labels Base, Premium, Limited and Touring and includes a vehicle photograph. The diagram identifies the supplied coverage. Do not infer dimensions, edge wrapping or extra coverage from its proportions. Compare the pattern with the relevant painted surfaces on your Outback, paying attention to edges, trim, seals and accessories that could affect placement.

This listing is not a full roof or full front kit. It does not include hood, bumper, fender, mirror, door or rear-panel coverage outside the pictured pattern. If you need another panel or are unsure where a pattern section belongs, ask for clarification before ordering instead of assuming additional pieces are included.

Vehicle Years, Body Style and Trim

The advertised application is the Subaru Outback for model years 2020, 2021 and 2022. The existing listing and artwork specify Base, Premium, Limited and Touring trims. This does not establish compatibility with a different body style or a differently shaped painted surface. Confirm the model year, exact trim and vehicle configuration before purchase. A registration or purchase date is not a substitute for the vehicle model year, and a similar-looking vehicle does not establish that its pattern is interchangeable.

This description retains the Outback application and named trims in the existing listing. It does not establish fitment for Wilderness, XT variants, other Subaru models or additional model years. Compare the pattern with your exact vehicle rather than relying on the model name alone.

Replacement panels, aftermarket trim, body modifications and accessories may change the surface available for film. Do not stretch a mismatched pattern into place or cut around an unexpected obstruction before resolving the fitment question. When contacting us, provide the model year, configuration and product link, plus photos of the relevant area if helpful.

Select Your Paint Protection Film

The selector offers ProFusion 8 Mil, ProFusion 10 Mil, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200, S.T.E.K Hydrophobic and S.T.E.K Matte. Choose the option that matches your intended appearance and care requirements, then check any option charge and the resulting order total. The selected option determines the film supplied for the pictured pattern.

Film properties are product-specific. Thickness, finish, surface behavior and maintenance instructions should be checked for the exact option selected. Do not assume every choice provides identical self-healing, stain resistance, hydrophobic behavior or warranty coverage. A feature associated with one film is not automatically a feature of all the other options.

A matte finish can change the appearance of covered paint relative to adjacent uncovered surfaces. Consider that difference before choosing it for a partial-area kit. No ceramic coating application, paint correction, additional film brand or installation service is implied by this listing.

Preparation, Application and Care

Inspect the vehicle and supplied pattern before application. The intended surface should be clean and suitable for the selected film, with contamination and residues addressed using compatible methods. Film is not a repair for peeling clear coat, corrosion, chips or scratches. If paint has been repaired or repainted, check its readiness and compatibility before applying adhesive film.

Follow the film manufacturer’s application guidance for the selected product, including handling, solution requirements and working conditions. Precut film still requires careful alignment and controlled application. Keep adhesive surfaces clean and avoid forcing film around an obstruction or onto a surface that does not match the pattern. Professional installation is an option if you are unfamiliar with the process.

After installation, follow the selected film’s curing and care instructions. Avoid lifting edges during cleaning and use compatible wash products. Maintenance and appearance depend on the film, surface condition, use and environment; no universal service-life or damage-prevention guarantee is made here. See our FAQ for general ordering information.

Check Your Order Before Purchase

Before checkout, confirm the 2020–2022 Subaru Outback application, pictured pattern and selected film. Review the displayed product and option totals. Keep the distinction between this limited-area kit and a complete roof or larger protection package clear when comparing products.

If the diagram, vehicle configuration or film selection leaves any uncertainty, contact us before ordering. Include this product link and exact vehicle details so the question can be addressed without relying on a generic model name. Order only once the pictured coverage and intended application match what you need.
