Description
Honda Insight Hybrid Precut Paint Protection Film
This Honda Insight Hybrid PPF kit is listed for 2019–2023 and the specific pattern illustrated on this page. The existing trim references are LX, EX and Touring. It is a targeted paint-protection option, not a full-front kit or a complete vehicle wrap. The advertised 2023 application remains unverified and requires confirmation of the intended market and model year. Confirm your exact vehicle and pictured pattern before ordering.
Precut paint protection film places a protective layer over the painted areas covered by the selected pattern. It can help reduce everyday surface wear from road debris and light contact, but it cannot prevent every chip, scratch or impact. Protection applies only where film is installed; nearby uncovered paint remains exposed.
Pictured Pattern and Coverage
The pattern-only artwork shows a narrow bowed upper band with separate upper-corner outlines and two outward-sloping side strips with angled lower ends. It contains no vehicle photograph or printed year and trim labels. Use these illustrated shapes to review the kit with your installer. Confirm the supplied pieces and their placement rather than inferring an exact piece count from the outlines. The decorative blue coloring does not represent the finish of every selectable film.
Although the existing coverage wording includes A-Pillars + Rooftop, do not interpret that wording as full-roof coverage or coverage beyond the illustrated pieces. Confirm the exact placement, boundaries and edge treatment of each piece before purchase. This listing does not include a hood, bumper, fenders, doors, mirrors or a whole-car ceramic-coating service unless separately ordered under another product. Nearby panels remain outside the described coverage unless they are specifically represented and confirmed as part of the supplied pattern.
Vehicle and Model-Year Confirmation
The title, previous description, additional-information attribute and vehicle finder all list 2019–2023 for Honda Insight. These existing entries have been preserved, but their agreement does not independently establish the advertised 2023 application. The model-year and intended-market question remains unresolved. Do not order for a vehicle described as a 2023 Insight without documented confirmation of both its model-year identity and the correct pattern.
The existing LX, EX and Touring references are retained without extending compatibility to other Honda models or trim levels. Confirm the precise trim and model year where offered; a listed year range does not prove that every named trim was available in every market throughout that range. The image filename names LX, EX and Touring, but a filename and unlabeled outline are not independent evidence for every year and trim combination.
Provide your model year, market, exact trim and any relevant exterior changes when requesting a fitment check. Distinguish the vehicle’s actual model year from its registration or sale date rather than assuming those dates are interchangeable. Ask the supplier to confirm the supported application and trim-specific cut before purchase. Have your installer compare the intended covered areas, body details and pattern boundaries with your vehicle before application. The valid URL contains 2019–2022 and is retained; it does not independently resolve the additional 2023 listing reference. No earlier or later application is implied, and similar styling on another Honda is not evidence that this pattern fits it.
Choose Your Film Option
Select from the film choices currently shown under A-Pillar Film Options. The available selector lists ProFusion 8 Mil, ProFusion 10 Mil, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200, S.T.E.K Hydrophobic and S.T.E.K Matte. Check the chosen option and displayed order total before adding the kit to your cart.
Film construction, finish, care instructions and warranty terms depend on the selected product. Do not assume that every option has identical thickness, gloss, hydrophobic behavior or self-healing characteristics. If matching an existing installation, confirm the precise film and finish first; a similar brand name alone does not ensure a visual match.
Preparation and Installation Planning
Precut film still requires careful preparation, alignment and application. Have an experienced installer assess the painted surfaces and compare the pattern with your vehicle before removing the liner. Existing chips, loose paint, repairs, coatings or contamination can affect the finished result and should be discussed before installation begins.
Follow the selected film manufacturer’s preparation and application instructions. Do not force an uncertain pattern to fit or assume that stretching can correct an application mismatch. If the shape, year or trim is in doubt, stop and obtain confirmation before applying the film. Installation labor, preparation products and tools should not be assumed to be included in this kit.
Care and Pre-Order Checklist
After installation, follow the film manufacturer’s curing and cleaning guidance. Use compatible cleaning products and avoid aggressive scrubbing or directing concentrated pressure at film edges. Inspect contamination promptly and seek product-specific advice if a mark does not clean away normally. Film is a protective surface, not a repair for damage already present underneath.
Before checkout, confirm the Honda Insight Hybrid LX, EX or Touring application, resolve the model-year question, compare the illustrated pieces with the intended coverage, and review your film selection. Contact the store with these details if anything is unclear. Order only after the pattern and application have been confirmed for your vehicle.
