2016-2023 Mercedes-Benz Metris Precut Paint Protection Kit – Bumper Step
$39.99
Description
Mercedes-Benz Metris Passenger Van Bumper Step PPF Kit
This precut paint protection film kit provides the pictured bumper step coverage for the 2016–2023 Mercedes-Benz Metris Passenger Van listing. The dedicated strip is intended for the rear loading ledge, where luggage and other items may brush the surface during everyday use. It is a focused coverage piece rather than a full rear bumper wrap, front protection package or whole-vehicle treatment.
Vehicle, Year and Trim Confirmation
The listed years are 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The vehicle information, finder and product illustration identify the Metris Passenger Van. Confirm your exact year, rear bumper configuration and loading ledge against the pictured pattern before ordering. The shorter Metris product title does not establish compatibility with a Cargo Van or a different bumper configuration.
Check the actual surface you intend to cover, including any replacement bumper, accessory or previous body modification. A matching model name or finder result alone does not confirm every trim or body variation. If your loading ledge differs from the illustration, request pattern confirmation before choosing film or starting application.
Included Coverage
The illustration shows one long, narrow bumper step strip with rounded ends and a slightly curved lower edge. Only that pictured strip is represented as included coverage. Use the outline to understand the intended rear loading-ledge area; do not assume that the rear bumper face, doors, hood, fenders or other panels are included. The colored pattern artwork indicates coverage and is not the color of the selected film. Ceramic coating and installation services are not represented as part of this precut film kit.
Film Choices and Appearance
The listing offers ProFusion 8 Mil, STEK Matte, Avery Supreme Defense, 3M Pro 100 Series, 3M Pro G200 and STEK Hydrophobic selections. Choose the option that suits your preferred finish and requirements. Surface properties, thickness, maintenance instructions and warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product. Refer to the selected film’s specifications rather than assuming that every available option has identical performance or appearance.
Preparation and Application
Follow the selected manufacturer’s preparation and application instructions on a clean, sound surface. Check for contamination, damaged paint or previous repairs before proceeding, and confirm that the intended surface is suitable for the chosen film. Compare the pattern with its backing still in place before exposing the adhesive. Stop if its outline or placement does not match your vehicle. Consider professional application if you are unfamiliar with positioning and handling paint protection film.
Care and Ordering Checklist
Before ordering, verify the Passenger Van configuration, model year, pictured strip and film selection. After application, follow the manufacturer’s settling, washing and care guidance, and avoid aggressive cleaning at exposed edges. Film can help reduce everyday surface wear within the covered area, but it cannot prevent every scratch, impact or underlying surface defect. Inspect the edges during routine cleaning and address lifting or trapped contamination promptly.
