This Tesla Model X tailgate PPF kit is listed for the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 model years. It supplies precut paint protection film for the tailgate assembly pattern pictured in this listing. Choose a film from the Tailgate selector to suit the finish you want to protect.

This is a tailgate-area kit, not a Full Front package or a full-vehicle wrap. The illustrated pieces define the intended coverage; the product name does not mean every rear exterior surface, opening or edge receives film.

Included Tailgate Coverage

Included: Tailgate Assembly Kit. The image shows a shaped upper section with a central notch and narrow openings, a larger arched surrounding section with a T-shaped opening, and a separate curved strip. These are the pictured tailgate patterns, with their cutouts and gaps left open.

The pattern image is not a promise of coverage for the rear bumper, bumper step, lights, roof, pillars, doors, hood or fenders. Compare the pictured layout with your vehicle and confirm the exact sections supplied if a particular surface or edge matters to you. The blue geometric fill is an illustration, not a printed film finish.

Paint protection film creates a protective layer over the paint beneath the installed pieces. It can help reduce everyday surface abrasion and minor scuffing in those covered areas, while gaps, cutouts and surfaces outside the pattern remain exposed.
